So Jack hit 1000 comments a while ago in what I think was record time for me, or at least record time for post-2007!me. I guess I'll try doing that First Impressions/Relationship Meme thing for him, then. (If you want one for Enjolras, Maladict, Tatsumi, Takeuchi Sora, Van Grants or Rorschach, you can request for them, too.)

And I'm throwing this up here mainly because I'm too tired to actually thread and am trying to get to bed early, so replies won't begin coming until at least tomorrow. THIS GIVES ME TIME TO CONTEMPLATE THINGS IN MY SLEEP, THOUGH.

Rose's friend! Which immediately makes him both more easily accepted and more deeply scrutinized. But Ryoutarou seems like a good kid -- a bit of a charming combo of seeming pretty nervous and not the brightest crayon in the box while at the same time obviously having had experience with some of the weirder shit the universe can throw at a person. He obviously can roll with things in the bigger picture to a good extent, which is nothing to sneeze at. Whenever Jack runs into Ryouatarou in camp, he makes sure to say hello and gives the kid a bit of a confidence boost if he can.

YES, WE DO. Jack is a little wary about Raph, to be honest, because he has sort of a prickly relationship with the whole death/afterlife/etc. deal and has had bad experiences with earth-based "supernatural" type beings. Raphael seems to be very human-like, though, as far as his personal nature goes, and Jack's curiosity is piqued.



Also, he's hot, so it's not like it's any skin off Jack's back to, well, investigate further.

JACK LIKES RORY A LOT. He thinks that he's hilarious and a really, really good guy. Kind of nervous, maybe a little slow, but good-hearted and solid when the shit hits the fan and by god, that's what matters. He also thinks that Rory is pretty... young and, despite what he's been through, kind of naive. Which makes Jack feel protective. And it's kind of a fellow Companion sort of thing, because only other people who have done it have any idea what it's like. And Jack hopes that Rory's been through the worst of what might happen to him, but he fears that that isn't the case. So he views Rory a bit... well. Not exactly like a kid brother, because brothers are a complicated thing for Jack, but kind of like kind of like that for a less dysfunctional person.

Jack likes Garrus! It's just nice to get a non-human/non-Earth perspective sometime (and not even just because of trying to run away from Earth -- people's views can get so small down here). He strikes Jack as a space-dinosaur of action, which Jack, as a man of action, appreciates. Would go out for a drink with him! Well. Would go out to a bar where Garrus could get a drink or whatever it is he species does while Jack sits there with a glass of water as they would pleasantly commiserate over fighting their way through bureaucracy and getting stuck on clean-up jobs that were totally not their responsibility and stuff like that.

She seems like a cute girl, nice enough. Jack's genuinely curious about her situation at home with the Gedoushuu and what exactly it is that she has to do with them. He'd like to talk to her more about that -- and, by way of that, find out more about her. If things where she's from are anything as serious as their brief conversation led Jack to suspect, there must some steel behind that sweetness.

Jack likes Supergirl! She has spunk! And a nice rack! :DDD And it's always nice to have someone to swap defending-the-city-against-killer-robot stories with. (Even though Jack is currently kind of running away from that part of his past right now, it's part of him and there's a limited pool of people who understand stuff like that.) Would be up for playing a game of tennis with her. :|b

Hakuren didn't make too much of a personal impression on Jack beyond being a nice enough kid, but he did put ~ideas~ into Jack's head, what with being engaged to someone he's met in camp, about how much this place could be... more than just a temporary holding place, where you get sucked out of your life for a bit before going back to whence you came, but could really be a life-changer for people. Which is relevant to his interests (specifically, the interests of his dead-back-home-but-alive-in-camp boyfriend). So Hakuren is, like, The Engaged Kid in Jack's mind.

Also, the Doctor was telling Jack about Rhode and her invisibeast. Jack is now interested. :x

He really, really doesn't care about Jack's free spirit. He just would rather not hear about it or be subjected to it, is all. Rory is a prude. He doesn't want people to talk about that sort of thing (regardless of who/what/how) because it makes him uncomfortable. Also he's just really, really worried about saying the wrong thing and making a fool of himself, which tends to lead to more foolish conversations. the poor guy can't win. But, I mean, he doesn't want to do something as innocuous as watch the Doctor switch shirts. He's not going to want to hear about anyone's sexual proclivities XD It's just not proper, okay.

JACK ENJOYS ZEX GREATLY he reminds Jack of the good ol' days, of being free in the galaxy and not being weighted down by all of the things that have piled up over the years. He dooooes have a bit of a side-eye on ZEX after Rose told him about them kissing, but 1) Rose is a big girl and 2) Jack isn't actually worried, he just loves Rose a lot so it's kind of an automatic thing. These days, Jack is actually a little less... things are a little different now that Ianto has arrived, it's more difficult to get nostalgic. And Jack also knows that Ianto isn't so used to things like Jack casually making out with big green tentacle aliens. BASICALLY he likes ZEX and still wants to hang out, but some boundaries have changed now from when Jack first arrived in camp. Certainly not because it bothers Jack, for whom monogamy is not the default, but because Jack is protective of Ianto.

JACK THINKS THAT REID IS AWFULLY ADORABLE :3 Smart, cute, kind of awkward. Totally Jack's type, actually, and he would have asked him out for a drink if his recently-deceased boyfriend hadn't recently shown up in camp. Hell, unless something comes up that causes Jack to dislike him (unlikely), he'll probably ask Reid out for a drink anyways at some point, just as a social thing.

JACK IS MAJORLY PINGED BY SHERLOCK there's just something about those tall, handsome, eccentric genius types. :x Though really, Jack does truly love adventure and action, and he can tell where you're likely to find that. He misses those days, when you could run around and have fun and maybe save some people and that was that, no end of the world, no being forced to make horrible moral decisions. So he's latched on to Sherlock a bit, and he doesn't mind the asshole-ness, he's more than thick-skinned against that and very difficult to put off.

He thinks that Amy is rad! Just what the Doctor needed, really. And he sort of has the same protective feeling for her as he does for Rory, because for all that they've gone through, they are just so young and happy that Jack's a bit nervous for them. He's very glad to have her as part of the TARDIS family. And just... well, Jack is going to be around for a long while, so he really likes being able to get to know all of the new Companions. It helps him to feel... in touch with things, with the better things in the universe.

Dean is cute. :x And has had some heavy shit dumped on him, apparently, which Jack can sympathize with. Jack can't help but be curious about the people whom he apparently knew before, so while he won't be digging too hard about his past here (unless something gives him reason to), he does want to get to know those people better.

Jack was a bit put out by the whole "WELCOME BACK SORRY THAT YOU'VE FORGOTTEN EVERYTHING" thing when he got back into camp, but that doesn't really reflect back on Rabi beyond Jack wanting to get to know the people whom he apparently knew before. Jack isn't so big on the whole "looking back" thing right now, given what he sees when he looks back there, but he still doesn't like blank spots where there should be things, so he's sort of doing it indirectly this way. The Doctor likes Rabi, so Jack has kind of just accepted Rabi as one of the TARDIS kids. And Jack likes staying in touch with who's part of the TARDIS family; it helps to keep some of the better parts of the universe to the fore. So basically, Jack likes having Rabi being part of the environment of his current life here in camp. He isn't pushing anything too hard as far as getting to know him, because getting to know people can easily get far more heavy than Jack feels like dealing with right now, but that might come eventually.

JACK IS INTRIGUED. Deadliness has never put Jack off before, and it's not about to start now. Jeanne seems to be after something, which makes Jack curious about what that is. She's far from his top concern, either personally (that would be Ianto, the Doctor, etc.) or professionally (camp, the Director, etc.), but he's going to be keeping his eyes peeled and his ears open. And if they run into each other again, so be it -- while he'll be on his guard, he certainly won't be avoiding her.

Sherlock - doesn't have a strong opinion of Jack yet, but he is curious as to why Jack keeps seeking him out for conversation. He hasn't done anything to encourage it and he knows he's a hard person to get along with so it's a little weird by his standards. Still, stupid men do what they like what can you do!!!

Amy - thinks Jack is hot! ... And really interesting to talk to, seeing as he knew the Doctor. However, no matter what Jack's opinion is, Amy would never change how she feels about the Doctor. She's incredibly steadfast and loyal in that sense.

Dean - Hahaha, so Dean and Jack were close! Dean killed someone for Jack! So having Jack and not remembering is on par with camp being a dick, but Dean doesn't like it and doesn't want to go reforge BONDS OF BROHOOD again, it's too much effort. He also doesn't want to make Jack too uncomfortable (he's used to people knowing too much and he knows how hated they can be for it)
